Steve Isenburg, CPCU is Director, Learning and Development, Starr Companies. Steve is responsible for all training initiatives, organizational development, and performance management for Starr’s domestic employees. In addition, he manages the Starr Global Associates Program and serves as an adviser to Starr’s Veterans initiative. Steve began working in the insurance industry in 1988 and obtained his CPCU designation in 2001. During his career he has worked in Claims, Operations and Human Resources with Travelers, State Farm, Tower Group Companies as well as serving as a consultant with Zurich.
Martin Ridgers, CPCU is a seasoned professional insurance executive who has lead and managed underwriting teams, earning the respect of the top brokers, carriers, reinsurers and customers worldwide. Throughout his career, Martin has led and motivated underwriters to produce over a $100 million in premium. He has created policy forms and rates for casualty, auto, property, professional liability and workers compensation, amongst others. Many of these forms and rates are still widely used today.

Robert A. Young, CPCU, P.E. is a Vice President and Senior Underwriter for Energy for North America Property & Casualty at XL Catlin. Robert has also previously served as a Director of the New York Chapter. He is backed by over 30 years Loss Control Engineering and Underwriting expertise in the HPR, Chemical and Power Gen arenas. In addition he has his Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) by examination. Robert is an active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and has served in all positions of the Chicago Northwest Chapter CPCU from Directorships through President.
Pascal Gallati, CPCU, ARe is a Senior Contingency Underwriter. For more than 22 years Pascal had worked in several fields of Swiss Re’s market facing units. From 2002 to 2005 he was on a secondment in London as a Global Reinsurance Key Account Manager. In 2011, he transferred from the Swiss-based Contingency team to New York, where he focused on reinsurance, direct and program business. This includes the underwriting of event cancellation, non-appearance, entertainment and prize indemnity exposures. Pascal is currently looking for a new challenge.
Gina Ciorciari, CPCU, AU, AIS, AINS, ASLI has been a CPCU designee since 2012. Gina is currently a sales operations analyst for Aon, focused on client research, data and analytics, and local marketing initiatives. Prior to this, for a total of 6 years, she worked for various underwriting operations groups within the Consumer Insurance and Commercial Insurance business units of AIG.
Jaclyn Nowicki, CPCU is currently a Business Development Account Executive for Safety National in New York, NY. She started her career in Premium Audit working for Liberty Mutual then Zurich Insurance. While at Zurich Jaclyn was a Regional Premium Auditor Director before moving into Business Development. Jackie is a graduate of Penn State University with an accounting major and economics minor.She obtained her CPCU in 2011 and also has her CIPA and APA.
Jason M. Lerman, CPCU is a Senior Underwriter with Global Energy for XL Catlin. Prior to Catlin he worked in the Energy Casualty unit of OneBeacon. Previously Jason was at AIG Global Energy Excess Casualty on the National Accounts team as a Senior Underwriter. While at AIG, Jason covered Petroleum, Petrochemicals, Power, Renewable Energy and Agriculture. He began his career with Chubb in the Energy Resources Specialty unit, writing both Property & Casualty coverages. Jason was conferred with the CPCU designation in 2007. He is an alumnus of New York University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.

Marsha A. Cohen, CPCU is Senior Vice President, Director of Education at The Reinsurance Association of America (RAA). Marsha is responsible for RAA’s Reinsurance Education Institute. She has won numberous awards including: APIW's “Insurance Woman of the Year”, Business Insurance Leading 100 Women and APIW's “Women of the Future Award”. She is a committee member of the Reinsurance Section of the CPCU Society, Board Member and Past Chair of the Insurance Education Council to the National Conference of Insurance Legislators.

Eileen P. McSweeny, CPCU, MBA is CEO of Fire Lake Consulting, a risk, insurance and sales education consulting firm. Eileen brings over 30 years of risk and insurance credentials to her newest venture. She retired from Marsh USA where she held the position of SVP and Global Risk Management Client Executive in New York. Prior to Marsh, Eileen was senior casualty underwriter with domestic and global insurers. She holds multi-state P&C and Life, A&H insurance broker licenses. Eileen serves on the Board of a Westchester County, NY based no-profit organization. She is recipient of APIW Enterprising Achiever Award early in her career.

Jasmin Dong-Hourihan, CPCU, ARe, MBA is a senior Cat modeling analyst at Liberty International Underwriters. Prior to this, she worked at Arch Insurance as a casualty business operation analyst. Prior to coming to the USA, she had 10 years of experience with Hewlett Packed and Lenovo Group, where she held management positions. Her work experience spans in the areas of statistical modeling and analytics, business and operational analysis, financial analysis and planning, accounting, database programming, and etc. On the academic front, she holds an MBA in International Business from University of Illinois at Chicago and a BS in Economic Mathematics in Beijing, China.

Joseph M. Buono, CPCU is the National Accounts Placement Leader for the North Region of USI. He had been serving in a similar role at Wells Fargo until its acquisition by USI in December 2017. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Insurance Services in 2007, Joe spent 20 years at Willis NY as the Casualty Marketing Manager. He has over 35 years of brokerage experience. Joe is an Adjunct Professor at St. John's University School of Risk Management where he has taught classes for over 20 years. In 2017, Joe was awarded the Eugene A. Toale Memorial Award from the NY Chapter of CPCU in consideration of his dedication to teaching the risk management sector.

Frank Semar, CPCU is an Underwriting Manager for Greater New York Mutual Insurance Companies. Molly Semar, CPCU, WCP began her insurance career in 2012 as an Underwriting Trainee at Greater New York Insurance Companies. After earning her CPCU in 2014, she quickly climbed the ranks to Underwriter, specializing in commercial package policies. Molly's interest in the continuing education part of the designation led to volunteering as Education Chair of the Chapter in 2016 and 2017. Molly continues to assist in organizing educational events for the Chapter, but is now an employee of Lancer Insurance Companies, where she underwrites restaurants, manufacturers and buildings of mixed occupancy. Molly is also a Workers’ Compensation Professional.

Dennis Ng, CPCU is an Account Executive for Coulter & Associates. Prior his current position, he held various roles in reinsurance operations and programs underwriting at Hannover Re. Dennis received his CPCU in 2014 and also has an Associate in Reinsurance. Recently, Dennis has served as Membership Chair for the New York CPCU Society.
Richard Schulz, CPCU is Director of Statistical Data Management at Verisk Analytics / ISO. Rich has held various positions over more than 35 years at ISO, most notably in the data management, actuarial and research areas. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics and a Master of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics, both from Hunter College. He holds several insurance designations including Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM) from the Insurance Data Management Association, as well as several Institute designations – AIAF, ARC, AIT, AIS, ARM, ARM-E, and ARM-P. He is also a Student of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS).
Gail M. Brunje, CPCU is a Vice President of International Surety at Zurich and prior to that worked for AIG. She has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience, specializing in the international surety arena. Gail has served as Secretary/Treasurer and President of the Surety Underwriters Association of New York. She earned her CPCU desigantion in 1995 and is an active member of the New York Chapter, having served as Vice President of Operations and President for the 2014 term. Gail is the current Chapter Governor for the New York, Westchester and Bermuda Chapters and is a member of the Society's International Insurance Interest Group (3iG).
